When Justine Hunter’s write-up in the Globe of the throne speech showed up in my inbox as a google news alert, it had this priceless headline: “BC will consider direct control of arm’s-length agencies.”  Hm. I suspect it would take a very bright political theorist to figure out how that could work.

Sadly, that line doesn’t seem to be the actual headline or subhead of the Globe‘s story.  That’s a shame, since it captures something true about the overall coherence of the government’s reviews of Translink and the ferries.
