Talking to Hannah Sutherland in the Peace Arch News, Translink spokesguy Ken Hardie talks about the benefits of the Canada Line for the rest of Richmond’s bus system.  Starting in September, buses that used to go from Richmond into Vancouver are going to stopping at the Brighouse Skytrain station.  That’s going to free up enough buses that Translink;s thinking of doubling the frequency of those buses, from once every half hour to once ever 15 minutes.

But maybe a better use for those buses might be on new routes that could give more commuters access to the Skytrain.  In any case, figuring out what to do with those buses is a good problem to have.
